How does a Deposit Image ATM work?

The Deposit Image ATM accepts both cash and check deposits inserted directly into the machine. Each bill and check must be inserted individually. The ATM then counts the items and totals the deposit, providing you with an image of  each check and a list of bills deposited. No deposit slip or envelope is required!

Can I deposit bills & checks in a single transaction?

No, the Deposit Image ATM can not combine bills and checks in a single transaction. If you have bills/checks to deposit, you must complete a separate transaction for each.

Can I deposit coin?

No, the Deposit Image ATM cannot accept coin.

Is there a limit to the amount of cash or checks I can deposit at once?

For each deposit, the Deposit Image ATM can accept up to 50 bills and 50 checks. If you need to deposit more than 50 bills/checks, you will need to complete a new transaction after processing the first.

Do I still need to endorse the back of the check?

Yes, proper endorsement is required for all checks deposited. If the check is not properly endorsed, there may be a delay in processing which will delay the availability of funds in your account.

What if the ATM won’t accept some of my cash or checks?

If your deposit contains cash that is folded or worn, or you have checks that may not have a routing number that has been encoded with magnetic ink, your deposit will not be accepted. In the event that this occurs, deposits can be placed into the Night Depository. These transactions will be processed on the next business day.
