The process of transitioning AFCU accounts over to TFCU is underway! If your account hasn’t been switched to TFCU yet, here are some important reminders and updates as we continue the conversion process:
As part of the transition to TFCU, AFCU’s Bill Pay system will be deactivated on Friday, June 7th. As a result, any scheduled or recurring payments set up through AFCU’s Bill Pay system will stop as of June 7, 2024.
To avoid any interruptions to your bill payments, we encourage you to enroll in TFCU’s Online Banking & Bill Pay systems prior to June 7th. Once enrolled, navigate to the “Pay Bill” section where you can set up your payees and begin paying bills.
In order to enroll in Bill Pay, you will need a list of your active payees. This can be found in AFCU's current system until Friday, June 7th.
If you would like assistance with enrolling in Online Banking or setting up your Bill Pay, please send an email to info@tauntonfcu.com with your name and the best number to reach you. Otherwise, please call (508) 824-6466 and leave a message for our Operations Department.
We are happy to announce that TFCU Visa® Debit Cards are now being ordered to replace your current AFCU Mastercard® Debit Card.
Some important information to be aware of;
All accounts will be fully merged into TFCU and your AFCU Mastercard® will be deactivated prior to June 30, 2024.

Your account number will remain the same provided that a duplicate does not exist in the current TFCU system, otherwise we will do our best to provide a similar account number to you. Your account will still be insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
Your debit card will work at the time of the merger until data has been converted over to TFCU. At that time, you will receive a new Visa® Debit Card with the TFCU logo.
As long as your account number is able to remain the same, your checks will be honored until they run out! Once they run out, you can order new checks with the TFCU logo and information.
Yes, all current loan rates and terms will stay the same. All new loans will be processed through TFCU's current rates and terms.
