TFCU has been serving the City of Taunton and its surrounding communities for over 70 years. Throughout our journey, we have always placed an emphasis on serving our members & communities in the best and most convenient way possible. We continuously look for ways to provide necessary support to our members and communities through our Community Giving Program, Dress Down Program & TFCU Street Team. 

Each year, thousands of dollars are distributed throughout the local community as a result of our Community Giving Program. The following form provides a guideline for how requests are considered and ensures that TFCU’s charitable financial resources are used in a way that best supports the members in the communities that we serve. For your request to be considered, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Complete the Community Giving Request form below at least 45 days in advance of the event or deadline to be considered. Decisions will be made by the 15th of the month following your submission. Please be aware that due to the overwhelming amount of requests that are received, we cannot guarantee that all submissions will be approved, or approved at the amount requested.  Consideration for all requests will be based on the available funding of the program.  
  • Event or Organization must be located within TFCU’s service area/field of membership.
  • Sponsorship requests will require TFCU Brand Recognition.
  • Individual Requests will be forwarded to our Public Relations Committee for consideration through our Dress Down Program.
  • In order to provide support to as many organizations as possible, only one request per organization will be considered during any 12 month period.
  • TFCU will not consider donations to companies or organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation or any other basis prohibited by law.

Community Giving Request

 

We have always done our part in trying to help the community. Our efforts to help the community has grown stronger through the continuing efforts of our Dress Down Program.

Every Friday when you visit a TFCU branch, you’ll notice our staff dressed down in TFCU gear. Our staff dresses down for charity through our Dress Down Program! Staff participate in this program by donating money on a weekly basis in order to dress down.

Funds are then distributed through our Public Relations Committee, which consists of staff from all areas of the credit union. The committee has donated to many charities including the Taunton Animal Shelter, Youth Sports for local schools, Girls Inc., Taunton Area School to Career and many more!

Community Giving Request

The TFCU Street Team are the faces and voices of TFCU both online and off. This group of engaged employees will be seen throughout the communities interacting with our members in order to promote brand awareness and provide information about TFCU and what TFCU offers. You can find TFCU Street Team members at local events, posting on our Social Media pages including Facebook & Instagram, as well as assisting members in all of our branches.
